André Clarke
André Clarke is director of community-led change at Lloyds Bank Foundation. Much of his work centres on a simple question: what does it take for people to be in a good place, and how do we make that happen?
Having worked across charities, philanthropy and international development for more than 15 years, including at BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, Bond and Plan International, André has led work spanning funding, learning, organisational development and systems change. He is particularly interested in how communities, charities, funders, researchers, businesses and policymakers can work together to tackle complex challenges and create lasting change. At the heart of his work is a belief that lived experience, local knowledge and professional expertise all have a role to play in shaping a better future.
