The Charity Awards 2024
The 2024 Charity Awards presentation took place on the 9th of July at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
Now in its 24th year, the Charity Awards continues to recognise innovative charities that exemplify best practices and deliver sustainable benefits to communities and society.
“In 2000 I started the Charity Awards to celebrate excellence and now over 15 years later they are needed more than ever to emphasise the vital part the sector has to play in ensuring a fair and more equal society. We should be proud of who we are and what we do.”
Daniel Phelan, Founder of Civil Society Media and The Charity Awards
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a red carpet entrance and drinks reception. The event proceeded with a three-course meal and an evening of awards and celebration.
CCLA is delighted to be the Overall Partner for the Charity Awards in 2024. Now, more than ever, we need to encourage the work of charities that nurture, repair and sustain our society. CCLA is honoured to be part of this event, recognising outstanding professionals in the many and varied fields of charity. We not only promote ‘good investment’ but we also wholeheartedly believe in the power of doing ‘good’ to change lives, strengthen communities and contribute to civil society.
CCLA chief executive, Peter Hugh Smith
